Theme is great but 2 things dont work, im a newbie so dont know where to look

  • Hey there, I am using the Victoria Theme for my College Course website, https://www.danahargrove.com/seniorseminar Im the professor.. and class starts on tuesday, I cant figure out 2 things and the guy who did the theme isnt around it seems.

    1.why the subscribe button doesnt work, it does if i put the theme on another blog of mine, so maybe it isnt the theme files.. tried to find where the code would be and couldnt find it, thought it would be on the home.php or header.php, but no. His files are very messy and all over the place not easy to figure out and im a beginner.

    2 on all the other pages the footer works fine (it has the links and search) but on the home page it doesn’t. I saw another version of this theme on this site: https://susanne.ws/ and the footer worked on home just fine, so not sure why mine doesnt work, its not the calender plugins fault because i tested it on my other blog which doesnt have one and it doesnt work there either..
    not sure what file thatwould be under, the footer.php? or style?

    Some tips would be grande.

    ok i got the first part of my question resolved but not the 2nd part… not sure if people can help me without looking at the files… ben all around the net looking at other peoples site use of the theme victoria and non of them have the same prob, any ideas?
