Share doesn?t show number of Twitter shares

  • Hi, I wanted to offer newsharecounts.com as an option to get the Twitter share counts. Website owner would need to add their site to tracking, and from that point your plugin could display the share counts.
    What do you think?

    Twitter made the decision to remove the ability to see the Twitter share count for your content. You can see more information here:

    When this change finally came through on November 20, it affected any service which relied on pulling the share count directly from Twitter, SumoMe included. This is why you are seeing 0 Twitter shares in SumoMe’s Share app. It’s unfortunate that Twitter share counts can no longer be tracked, but since Twitter removed the ability to look them up the numbers are no longer available for us to provide to you.
