  • All I wanted was to have an easy way to insert news into a small window on the homepage of my site. I installed WordPress thinking that it would do. But now, I’m more confused than ever! Should I look for something else? Or is there a way I can configure this blog so that I can put posts on a little window on my homepage without all the bells and whistles?

    Yes, but not ‘easily’, especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed already.

    Actually there is a really easy way. Use my AWSOM News Announcement plugin that does exactly what you appear to be asking for. You can download it from here at the AWSOM.org website.
