    Ciao Eliot,

I am having a bit of difficulties (to say the least) with pagination ??

My first problem is that I can’t get the URL to be …/page/2/ regardless what I put into the 3 fields under the CCS Advanced Settings (Permalink slug for pagination, Pagination slug, Default query string) it always comes back with the default URL …/?lpage3=1

My WP Permalink Settings are set to Custom Structure /%category%/%postname%/

Any idea what is going wrong here? ??

And my second problem is that I would like to put the prev and next link around an image, and only display the image when this is actually necessary. I am using for this site https://pictoricodemo.wordpress.com/ and would like to add 1 or2 of those boxes at the end for the prev or next link and not just text because the site if for a friend of mine who is a photographer, and she prefers images… ??

Many thanks in advance for your help,
    Marc

Hmm, I am really stuck here, I followed the instructions, but it’s not working for/with me…

mydomain.com/alles-von-mir/ is the page, so I put into the settings e.g.:
    Permalink slug for pagination: alles-von-mir
    Pagination slug: seite
    Default query string: pagename=alles-von-mir

I also tried various other combinations, but none seems to work…

help please, I am lost ??

Doesn’t seem to work… I thought maybe it needed a flush rewrite rules, but after saving default permalinks, still nothing changes.

    Also…

[loopage-prev] and [loopage-next] both show previous as the text unless you specify it with the text attribute.

OK, I’ll look into this and find out what could be the cause.

As hinted at in the documentation, pagination permalinks is still an experimental feature. It’s tricky to add pages to existing structure, and I’m still searching for a reliable method.

Bryan, thank you for the pointers. The settings page does flush rewrite rules, so something else must be the reason. As for previous/next text, it was a simple mistake – both shortcodes are handled by the same function, and the default was ‘Previous’ for both. I’ll fix it in the next update.

    Hi Eliot,

yes I realise it’s still experimental, but it would be an awesome addition to your awesome plugin ??
