Show store by category

This isn’t possible at the moment, but in the 2.1 update you will be able to use a category attribute on the [wpsl_map] shortcode. So you can create a map that only shows the mechanic locations, and another one just showing the resellers.

2.1 should be out this week, or otherwise early next week.

This is exactly what I was going to ask about! This would be an awesome feature.

The wpsl shortcode doesn’t support the category attribute yet, it only works on the wpsl_map shortcode.

[wpsl] renders the store search with the map.
[wpsl_map] renders just the map for the provided location ids, or locations assigned to the provided category slug(s).

Should also include a [wpsl category=”restaurant”] because with [wpsl_map category=”restaurant”] we only see the map and cannot get more information on each location.

And how can we publish a store on a page like it’s permalink?

I will add support for the category attribute in the [wpsl] shortcode in the near future.

You mean that the store header has no permalink / url if you have a map with only locations from category x on it? This is something I overlooked, and will be fixed early next week.

A store information can directly be accessed by its permalink /store/my_store_name with map, store name, address and more info.

The only way to show that information in a other page, is to use [wpsl_map id=310] only show the map location without any other information. I would like to use this in my contact page instead of creating an html.
