Hi. I recently downloaded the Lavish theme (V1.1.0). All looked good so I created a child theme to make a few tweaks. On the child theme the responsive menu doesn’t work for smaller screen sizes. All menu items are displayed over the top of the header, and clicking the menu button does nothing. If I revert back to the Lavish theme the problem goes away.

I stripped the child theme back so it just imports the parent stylesheet, and still same problem.

I can see that others have had issues with the mobile menu, but they all seem to have been fixed with the latest update (which I am on).

Not sure where to go from here. Any assistance appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Martin

Hello. Been a week since my last post, and no response. Am I doing something wrong?

I’m new to WordPress, so if I’m missing something on how to get answers, can someone let me know?

Otherwise will be forced to choose a new theme. I can’t progress with lavish without a resolution.

    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hi there,

    Sorry for Inconvenience.
First you need to make sure that you have chosen Theme locations(primary Menu) of child theme.

And also checked whether you have created child theme as per the www.ads-software.com standard. How to create child theme

    Thanks

It is interesting that in your demo of this theme – https://demo.styledthemes.com/demos/lavish/ – the mobile menu still does not work. I can’t trust a theme when even the demo from the developer doesn’t work properly. The same thing is happening for another of your themes – flat responsive. There were none of these issues with the earlier themes developed by Andre, before the new developers took over Styled themes. My 2 cents worth…
