Were you able to get this figured out, or do you still need help with it? If so, please turn on debugging, and post the debug information from the settings page.

It may seem stupid, but how do I turn on debugging?

Sorry, english is not my natural language, and all that is very dificult to me to understand.

On my WP backoffice I see this message:

    Plugin Status?Requires Attention
    Total Savings: 3.10 MB
Cloud optimization API Key: Verified, 4400 image credits remaining.

    Only need one of these:
    finfo: Missing??getimagesize(): Installed??mime_content_type(): Missing
Cloud Settings Basic Settings Advanced Settings Conversion Settings
If exec() is disabled for security reasons (and enabling it is not an option), or you would like to offload image optimization to a third-party server, you may purchase an API key for our cloud optimization service. The API key should be entered below, and cloud optimization must be enabled for each image format individually

It is right below that section, and should simply say “Debugging”, unless you are using a different locale/translation.

    EWWW Image Optimizer
Plugin Home Page | Installation Instructions | Plugin Support | Cloud Status

New images uploaded to the Media Library will be optimized automatically. If you have existing images you would like to optimize, you can use the Bulk Optimize tool.

What is the first option you see on the settings page? Is it the debugging option, or the Cloud API Key option?

    Thread Starter Blogger

    (@rui-oliveira)

Cloud API. The debugging is the 7th option.

    (@nosilver4u)

Aha, that makes more sense now. What you are seeing is how the settings page looks when javascript is not working/broken.

If you check the console in Firefox or Chrome, you will be able to load the settings page and see what errors are showing up.

If you do not know how to do that, send me a temporary admin login via email, and I’ll take a look myself.

    Thread Starter Blogger

    (@rui-oliveira)

what is the email to send you the login.

I don’t know to do what you told me to.

sorry about that, use this form: https://ewww.io/contact-us/

    (@nosilver4u)

For anyone else with a similar issue, the problem was related to Content Security Policy (CSP) blocking lots and lots of javascript, which breaks the plugin status area as well.
