• So sorry to hear you are not able to support this any more, but I totally understand. I’ve really enjoyed working with you.

My page has [eventrocket_ical_link from="-3 month" to="+12 month" limit=2000] on it, and since I updated The Events Calendar to 4.0, all the times in the ics may have shifted (to UTC? 8:00am event is showing up at 1pm on google calendar)

    See https://steeplechasers.org/events-to-google-calendar/

Can you point me in the right direction to make a fix myself? Or do you know if The Events Calendar has an equivalent shortcode?

    thanks in advance.

Hmm, well there was definitely an iCal/timezone related change in 4.0 – perhaps that has caused this, or perhaps the Event Rocket code needs to be updated to match the change:

Fix – Resolved issue where the iCal feed did not provide an appropriately formatted timezone in some cases (Cheers to Matt for the report!)

I guess the question is, do you find there is a similar shift when you use the regular month view iCal export button (or some other default source of iCal data, that’s independent of Event Rocket)?

That might give a good indication if it’s a general change at The Events Calendar level or something specific to Rocket.

… Just to add, it sounds like this probably is a problem in TEC – but a fix may be around the corner, let’s wait and see.

Did you see a bug report in TEC? Happy to wait — I’ve been meaning to look at this but thankful I procrastinated now. ??

The Events Calendar 4.0.1 was just released – there’s a note about what is probably behind your issue in the changelog ??

yes, that seemed to fix it — thanks and sorry for the noise ??

again, sorry you’ve decided not to continue supporting this, but I totally understand the decision. I have several python packages on github I use for myself and my running club, but would not be able to deal with the documentation required and support were they to get any significant usage, so I’ve not put these on pypi.

No problem, glad it’s all sorted.

Yep I wish my time was more abundant and then I might take this one further, but, for the moment, I felt it best to remove any expectations of ongoing support.

    Thanks again ??
