Make offer button is not showing up for affiliate/external product type

Well, we deliberately hid the offer button for those types of products because those types of products would send you away from the site to purchase from a 3rd party.

I guess you have a scenario where you’d rather still provide the offer button even for external products..??

yeah I understand the whole concept of hiding this offer button for external products however I have scenario where I need the offer button on external product type. could you please help me to enable that, that will be great help ??

You can see the logic that is hiding it here. You’ll need to adjust accordingly to suit your needs.

It would be best to make your adjustment as an extension of our plugin, though, to ensure you won’t lose your changes when you update in the future.

You’ll need to use Firebug to see what the POST response is coming back with. There must be some sort of an error getting included with the JSON result that is keeping it from parsing correctly.
