    Hi!
Before I explain my problem, let me tell you I’ve not used much HTML and CSS since 2009, and this is my first time trying to customize a theme with a newer version of WordPress. Last time I had tried and succeeded, it was 2008 and things were so much simpler! My intention was to convert this static HTML website @ https://www.our-cross.net/provadusk into a WordPress theme @ my website https://dusk.our-cross.net. I used an Underscores theme as a bone theme and replicated the same structure you see in the static page – the problem is that, no matter how many times I try, the background that should be in <div id=”container”> doesn’t show. I’ve been at this for hours and I don’t know what to do anymore. As you can see, every other background image works. What did I do wrong? I’m desperate!
