Import issues

  • I recently created my new domain at WisdomTrails.com
    I exported my content from my .com site and imported into new www.ads-software.com site.
    My import only successfully imported 6 of my 100+ posts for an unknown reason. I have already confirmed with wordpress.com, who did a test import of their own that the import is complete. Furthermore, if you click any of my article under the destinations page, which did import properly, you will find the link reroutes you to my old blog.
    My new site is live already and time is not on my side. I don’t know how to proceed.
    Please help.

  • Hello,

    It looks like your destinations page is an actual ‘page’ in the WordPress backend, have you updated the links in the content to be relative rather than absolute and pointing to your previous site?

    Just ruling out the obvious causes first.
