    Hi,

    I made some changes.
try to delete the plugin from plugin directory and then download and install fresh version.

Let me know if that helps.

    best regards,
    Marin

    Marin,

downloaded new plugin, that failed again with same response. Tried to install from within wordpress and got same result.

Am working with Godaddy hosting if that makes any difference.

    Thanks

I’m not sure why is this happening… probably there’s some conflict with your theme.

I made one more change. Try again the same process (delete plugin, install fresh version).
I hope it will be ok now.

    best regards,
    Marin

Got a little further, but a new error when trying to activate.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/content/56/9777256/html/membershiptravel/wp-content/plugins/smart-popup-blaster/admin/add_cpt.php on line 124

    Thanks

Ok, we are slowly going somewhere, that’s ok. ??

try again same process and let me know if there is a new error?

    best regards,
    Marin

    Marin,
Looks good to go! installed and activated!

    I do have 2 more questions though…..

Can I add a contact form 7 to the popup?

Can I trigger the popup with an existing button on my site?

Do you have any basic tutorials for above?

    Thanks
    William

    Great! I’m glad it’s ok.

Yes, of course, just copy and paste shortcode from Contact form 7 to popup body (same like you would in post or page).

To use click function you’ll need to add class and data-id. There are few examples on help page.

when you create new popup go to “All PopUps” and copy data-id of your popup and paste it in your button (or any other element)

let’s assume that your popup data-id is 10, then button structure needs to be like this:

    <button class="show-popup" data-id="10" value="">Show Popup</button>

    best regards,
    Marin

    Marin,

Need a bit more help. I’m using a Visual Composer button and the folowing are the fields I have to work with.

    text on button
    url: (link)
    style: i.e. modern
    shape: i.e. rounded
    color: blue
    size: normal
    alignment: inline
    css animation: no
extra class name: (Style particular content element differently – add a class name and refer to it in custom CSS)

How can I get the popup to work with this? or do I need custom coding?
I’m a fairly new WordPress user and am pretty reliant on Visual Composer to create my site.

    Regards,
    William

I’m sorry but you can’t do it through Visual Composer.
You have to write it manually for click triggers.

You could still use exit-intent, time-delay and scroll triggers. For these you don’t need custom coding.

    best regards,
    Marin

    Hi Marin,

I try to add more than 10 pop-ups, but I have pointed out that plugin has as limit only 10 pop-ups. How could I fix it?

    Regards,
    Alexandros
