• Twenty sixteen -> widgets -> content bottom 1
    I have Google related posts there

    It works on any single post page or any static page, but it doesn’t work on homepage (which is set to “your latest posts”).

    How can I fix it?
    Thank you

  • It’s made on purpose.

    Very strange that this “purpose” is not optional or editable

    Is your frontpage set up to show only post excerpts? If so, that might be why. Maybe try having the full post display for each post.

    You want to have the content bottom sidebars with widget on the blog frontpage with all posts?
    Did I correctly understand you?

    The content bottom siedebar is not included in index.php Template (wich is for frontpage, archive, etcc.) – it’s included in single.php Tempate (for posts, pages…).

    You can make a child theme and add sidebar code from single.php to index.php.

    yes, sure
    thank you for your hint

    yegorka, Well it sounds like you have a workaround to try, but…

    When I asked about full posts, versus excerpts, I did not mean the post type (which is image). I mean is it set to display excerpts or full posts (summary or full text) in the Reading Settings? See https://ibin.co/2Q1VGY0Vcakf

    I think you have it set to summary, because if you click your Blue Lagoon video title on the homepage, it goes to the full post where we see related posts, etc. at the bottom.

    Try setting it to full text.
