Clifford 4.4 update – No Update Required

  • I updated the site and now it tells me “No Update Required – Your WordPress database is already up-to-date!” Now I can’t get into the site. I repaired and optimized my database to try to recover. Any ideas as to the latest issue?

  • I had to restore my website from a backup to get it working again. I tried to update again with the same result. The update kills my site.

    Thank you, I will stop my other 50 sites from auto updating

    I have done no firmware update WordPress 4.4 update. wp-admin 403 has no input error. what can I do ?

    The 4.4 update killed one of my sites, but worked fine on the others. Like StewJutsu, I had to restore from the previous days backup in order to get it working again, and even now the Media Library appears blank.

    Rather shocked that Automattic has released a bad build of WP. I’ve been using WP for over a decade and only recall one other bad release and I don’t even recall which version that was.

    This is some bad news on your end, my peeps! Here’s to hoping you get this patched up quickly. -TC
