RSS Widget puts quotation marks around title

Since upgrading to 4.4, all my RSS widgets display quotation marks around their titles now.

This looks terrible and I can’t figure out how to remove the unwanted quotation marks.

For example, one of my RSS widgets displays entry titles from another blog under the title I gave it, which is

AM Telephony

and that is how the widget displayed its title until a few days ago. Now it displays

“AM Telephony”

which just looks silly.

Any ideas?
