Text breaking mid words? Please help!

I have an issue where the lines of text aren’t forcing whole words to the next line, but breaking up the text and just pushing a letter at a time beneath it…?

I read online that word-wrap: break-word; should resolve the issue but I can’t seem to resolve this.
