not able to publish or edit posts

Hi, I am having a problem where my blog does not seem to be processing new posts or edits to old posts. It also won’t let me delete posts. All three activities result in being brought to a blank page with the address of the regular “write new post” page. When I hit the back button, I am returned to the post page with the address that would have usually created a new page (with the ? and the word “edit” and the number of the post) but the process does not create the page. Can anyone help? Thanks.
