First, thanks for this great powerful plugin. ??

I’m just getting started with SAM Pro Free. So far, so good. The online documentation really helps a lot. I have installed the plugin, created ads, created a place, and have successfully displayed ads.

In my situation, I have created a place to be used in the sidebar. When I use the place widget that works fine. What I want to do is have a second iteration of the same place in the same sidebar (just below it). I can get this done by just adding a second place widget – that works fine.

However, I thought alternatively, I could create a block with 2 items and have each item be a sidebar place. The editor seems to have let me set this block up as described and saved it. It shows up in my blocks listing — but not in the dropdown menu of the block widget. So, did I miss a step or do something wrong? Seems like the block name should be in the widget dropdown selector…

    Follow-up…

Once I found that the block name was not showing up in the block widget dropdown menu, I didn’t go any further with it. However, I left the widget in the sidebar and it should be noted that it is doing what I had hoped – displaying two iterations of the sidebar place ??

So, it looks like the problem (bug) is that the block name is not showing up in the dropdown menu in the widget.

I looked at the page source code for the widget. I can see that the select option 1 is there, it just does not have any label so it does not show up.

It looks like you forget to set name for the Block (Block Editor)…

Doh! Thanks for not pointing out that the “bug” was in my brain ??
