Remove Jetpack share button text from hover excerpt

I have a time.ly calendar page on my site, and I also use Jetpack to generate “share” buttons on selected pages/posts. Each event has a row of share buttons at the bottom, which is fine.

However, when time.ly grabs the content of each event to display in the hover excerpt (i.e., what you see when you mouseover an event in Month view), it also grabs the “share” text (there’s a text length limit, so it happens when the preceding text is brief). The text isn’t displayed as active buttons or links, so it just looks like “Share this:FacebookTwitterPinterestPrint”.
