    Have you checked the email settings under WooCommerce -> Settings -> Email to ensure that all of the Offer emails are enabled?

    Yes, all Offer emails are enabled in WooCommerce->Settings->Email.

    Can you try clicking save in each of those even though they already show enabled? I’ve sometimes where those settings don’t actually “take” until you click save in there.

    Thanks for the prompt response. I clicked Save Changes in each of those, insuring that they are enabled, but no luck.

    Can you check the PHP error log on your server to see if anything is showing up there?

    I have not had this complaint from any other users so there must be something unique about your server configuration causing it. We just need to track down the culprit and then I can see if it is something we need to adjust in the plug in or not.

    Found this…

    [Thu Dec 17 11:28:21 2015] [error] [client 192.0.xx.xx] client denied by server configuration: /home/clxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/uploads/offers-for-woocommerce-logs/index.html

    Ok, looks like something in your .htaccess is denying access to the plugin sending email somehow. You would need to look into that on your end, or if you want to show me what you’ve got in there I can see if I can point out the issue.

    In that .htaccess file – the one within the offers-for-woocommerce-logs directory, was “deny from all”. I deleted that phrase, saved, but still no luck. Could the issue be with the main site .htaccess file?

    Thread Starter clearwat

    (@clearwat)

    More properly, I placed #deny from all in that .htaccess file and also in the .htaccess file in wp-content/uploads/woocommerce-uploads file.

    Still no luck.

    Are you getting any different errors in the php logs?

    Thread Starter clearwat

    (@clearwat)

    No, new errors at all for a few hours. I will deactivate the plugin for now.

    (@angelleye)

    Ok, well based on that previous error and the fact that I haven’t heard of this problem from any other users I would say there is obviously something causing the problem on your server. I hope you’re able to get to the bottom of it eventually because I’m sure you’d love the plugin!

    Angelleye,

    Finally got the plugin working! Here is what the excellent WiredTree support did:
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Installed the PHP module ffmpeg.
    Whitelisted the Mod security ID in the server.
    Corrected the permission of upload folder.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Thank you for your support and for the outstanding plugin!

    Glad to hear you got it working! If you have a moment to leave a review for the plugin that would be greatly appreciated.

    Actually only worked for a short time. Still could not get the email function working, despite thorough testing and tweaking of the server.
