    When the post is shorter than the menu, you lose some of the “powered by WordPress” text. Example here:

    There doesn’t seem to be an easy way to get back to home after a few clicks, why don’t you consider making you header graphic a link to home?

    Yes. Sadly there are the usual CSS positioning issues here with the menu overflowing the footer. Easy to fix.

    I’ll move the WordPress text over a bit… how do I make the title a link? My CSS editing skills go as far as exactly what the two guides told me…?

    Not if you want to stick with an absolute position for the menu. If you are willing to edit the index php and edit your css to adopt a css 1 float positioning scheme, then it is simple to adapt.
