How to add a custom meta or shortcode to grid elements visual composer

  • Hi everyone
    I have a little issue to resolve.
    My wordpress is up to date and i have visual composer installed by the premium theme.
    My question is simple and i hope to find a solution with your help, in grid element builder i would like to add the category of the post to show on front-end render .

    I don’t know what file modify to add this meta i found this article who explain a method to add a custom shortcode but in detail i don’t have any idea how to made this modify.
