I suspect that your send form is missing some inputs or not submitting properly. Can you try updating form.php file (located in core/ folder) with this latest file https://pastebin.com/CGiPtCgP from v2.0 (which will be released this week) ?

So I did as you said and updated the form.php and still getting the white blank screen. These are my error logs: wp-content/plugins/wpchats-lite-private-messaging/core/form.php

Thanks to your reports I have noticed that there’s a needed improvement in the main class file, and I am working on a new version already since the past week which of course contains a fix to these issues. The new version will include a lot more features such as translation ready and support RTL, extensible,..

I hope you can wait up until it’s released (within this week max), and I’ll keep you posted. If you can’t wait then you might want to provide me a way to contact you and I’ll send you the plugin pack to solve those issues you’re reporting..

Hope you are well. Thank you for the update and information. I will definitely check out that facebook community. I updated the chat plugin but I still got this error log- wp-content/plugins/wpchats-lite-private-messaging/core/form.php

it made my site have a 500 internal server error. I hope this log helps in making the chat work with no errors. Really excited to use it ??

Can you edit the plugin file through plugins > editor and edit classes/wpchats.php file, scroll down to line 376, and update these 2 lines of code from this:

add_filter('wp_mail_from_name', function() {return $this->get_settings('mail_headers_from_name');});
add_filter('wp_mail_from', function() {return $this->get_settings('mail_headers_from');});

to this:

add_filter('wp_mail_from_name', function($this) {return $this->get_settings('mail_headers_from_name');});
add_filter('wp_mail_from', function($this) {return $this->get_settings('mail_headers_from');});

I’ve got the same problem, but the messages get sent anyway.
I’ve tried updating the two lines as you sggested, Samuel, but it gets me the same error everytime:

Just a quick note – because I can’t edit my previous post – to let you know that I’ve installed the PRO package and that the problem has not presented itself again.

I just got this error when sending a message with both an image and a link:

Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /web/htdocs/www.flottastellareitaliana.it/home/fsi/wp-content/plugins/wpchats/classes/wpchats.php on line 1759

On line 1759 of wpchats.php I have this:

$ret .= '<div class="wpc-media-links"><a href="'.$m[1].'" download title="'.$this->translate(50).'"><i class="wpcico-download-cloud"></i>'. $this->translate(49) .'</a>';

I couldn’t add any new message to the conversation, nor delete it, so I had to deleted the last message from the admin panel and now it works again.

This is what I see from the deleted messages page in admin panel:

I colori non li ho toccati, ma il giallo è veramente un pugno in un occhio.

As you can see, there’s a (title) were the title of the link was supposed to be.
