• Hi,

I want to create separate galleries on a single page. I have single images that I want to appear in a lightbox alone, and at the end I have a caorusel with images that I want to appear in its own separate gallery. I tried using the rel=”lightbox[gallery-1] technique I found earlier on this forum, but it won’t work, mostly becuase there are no image links visible for the images in the carousel where I can add it (the caorusel is created separately and added through shortcode). If I add it to the single image I want separated, nothing happens, it is still grouped with the photos in the carousel.

I previously used another lightbox plugin, simple lightbox, which worked perfectly for this purpose, and you only had to add shortcodes to separate the galleries. This plugin conflicted with an async javacript plugin I need to speed up my site, and I eventually had to find another lightbox plugin. The responsive lightbox plugin seems to be the perfect alternative, and I love the options and the design, I just need to sort out the last bit of separatig the galleries and I will be a very happy camper!

Here’s a typical page of where I need this:
    https://wildlifevagabond.com/africa/mammals/carnivores/canids/african-wild-dog/

I want the map at the beginning to be separate from all the photos in the carousel gallery towards the bottom.

    Thanks,
    Havard

Unfortunatelly, i can’t access your site but from what you described it should be enough to disable single image as gallery option in RL settings.

Btw. since 1.5 we use data-rel=”lightbox-gallery-1″ markup for galleries instead of the rel.

Thanks for getting back to me!

I just disabled that option, but now all photos are shown alone when clicked. I want the photos in the carousel to behave like a lightbox slider, and the other single photos to behave like “single image as gallery” option is disabled.

I tried using the new code, but I get the same result. Any ideas?
