Problem with canonicalization for posts pagination

for avoiding canonicals to the posts pagination i have checked “No Pagination for Canonical URLs:”
my posts having url https://www.domainname.com/post-name/44/
https://www.domainname.com/post-name/45/
https://www.domainname.com/post-name/46/are canonicalizing to the main post https://www.domainname.com/post-name/
by selecting this option my category pagination is also canonicalized to main category page like
https://www.domainname.com/categoery/categoery-name/2/
https://www.domainname.com/categoery/categoery-name/3/to https://www.domainname.com/category/category-name/
now i dont want this to be happened to my category pagination as the content wil get changed every time. please resolve my issues
