How to change Copyright info

If it’s not in footer.php, it’s likely inside functions.php or possibly as a widget. If it’s in functions.php, simply go to that file and edit as you would in footer.php. If it’s in a widget, you’ll be able to see it and change in the WordPress admin by going to Appearance > Widgets.

The only other thing I can think of is that I checked out your site’s source code and it appears to be using the wp-simple theme https://www.ads-software.com/themes/wp-simple/

If that’s the case, and if it hasn’t been changed, your copyright info should be in the admin folder and the file titled options-init.php (see the screenshot after I downloaded the theme).

I’ve already looked at your source and posted above that it’s the Simple Theme. Were you able to locate the file and code I pointed you to?

public_html/wp-admin there isn’t a options-init.php

Wherever your theme file is where you want to look, so it might be something like public_html/wp-content/themes/wp-simple/admin > your options-init.php file.

hmmmmm strange. There is no “Admin” file in the
public_html/wp-content/themes/wp-simple directory
css
fonts
images
nimbus
(and sub-directories in each)

I am now looking for an admin file in all directories public_html

I did a search (and manually looked) for options-init.php
