Mouseover Sprites and More!

  • Hey guys-

    The goal: To utilize a “mouseover/sprite” effect on a website- within the body. Most posts i see are using sprites in nav menu’s/footers, etc. I’m trying to replicate a hover effect within body of site- on images….
    I have accomplished this effect here (hover on the photo)

    *You’ll notice it kind of works for the middle button, but then disappears and leaves no trace….

    Not sure where is to look– the customizr theme/new WP 4.4 (?) I cannot get it to function, whether using IMG Mouseover plugin (preferred ‘easy’ method) or other code suggestions i’ve seen. Also, open to other suggestions to get this effect to work..,

    Anyone see red flags or have ideas? Thanks very much
