  • Man, I need to switch to actually use a proper shortcode (right now it’s a hack that replaces the_content, etc.) That should fix this, right?

This part has been a pain and I’ve been avoiding it because it will require a SQL script to upgrade all existing shortcodes ??

    Any suggestions?

Recipes should be saved either in postmeta or in their own table, I’m not sure why you need to pass that data through the_content’s filters after you retrieve it.

They are saved in their own table but a shortcode is used to actually add the recipe when the_content is being displayed.

Ah, so when the_content gets processed so does the recipe data inside the content? Is there some sort of priority you can modify to delay the trigger of that shortcode?
