comments won’t go directly to my blog

  • I am not sure when this started but when someone comments it goes to the moderation page instead of going directly to the blog. I know there are options to make it do this but I have made sure they are all turned off. I need to get this fixed because alot of my commenters are submitting more than one comment because they don’t think the first went through.

    Make sure these three options are unchecked in your Options > Discussion page, under Before a comment appears:
    * An administrator must always approve the comment
    * Comment author must fill out name and e-mail
    * Comment author must have a previously approved comment

    Personally I leave the second one on. As a first line of defense against simpler spam bots.
