    Hi eldarius,

Maybe the hoster allow snot to change the permissions set to 0755 to folders? Have you take a look via FTP at the folder to the permissions are set there?

When at the three other hostings the settings are set properly by the plugin, you should take a look on this one hoster.

Is the folder empty or are the gravatars chached there?

    Best regards,
    Harry

what do you mean with different hostings? you have three sites(three domains) with different contents on three different hosters and you get the on all hosters the same notice?

Can you give me the URLs to your sites?

Of course, screenshots could be helpful.

    Best regards,
    Harry

    ok,
i have logged in and take a look. I think the plugin is not able (not allowed) to write the settings in the database.
Can you take a look via phpMyAdmin and look at the table “your_prefix_harrys_gravatar_cache” ?
There should be something like in the screenshot i sent you via mail.

Ok i see in your screenshot that the database table is empty. That shouldn’t be.

Is there something to see in the errorlog why the table couldn’t be filled with the “options” by the plugin?

Try to deactivate and deinstall the plugin. Then the table should be deleted. If not so delete it after deinstalling the plugin manually.

Then install the plugin via your backend again and take a look in the database table.

    Done. Result is the same.

But i noticed after activation this error

The plugin generated 285 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

    Plugin Author Harry Milatz

    (@harry-milatz)

ok, that is the reason why the table is empty.
i will do a fallback in the next update that the message in the settings-page is clear when the database table couldn’t be filled.

there are some more errors for the plugin “dl-yandex-metrika” if you look at your dashboard. it seems that another plugin is responsible for this errors. try to deacticate one plugin by the other and check if the errors are gone.

After this try to reinstall the plugin here again.

And be careful of plugins that are not supported for WP 4.4 like “jQuery Smooth Scroll”, this is supported til 4.1.8

the result is the same. I created new wp site on another hosting – same problem. I have only one plugin installed

    (@harry-milatz)

wow that is very fast to crate another new wp site on a new hoster.;)

that is really strange. is the other hosting(the new wp site) the same hoster or another one?

can you add this to your wp-config.php define('WP_DEBUG', true); and take a look in the errorlog file in your wp-content folder after reinstall the plugin?

the message “The plugin generated 285 characters of unexpected output during activation” is most shown if any whitespace or lines are after the closing php-tag or the last line in the plugin-file, but that isn’t so in my plugin.

I did it – there was nothing about your plugin.
