Custom Payment Gateway

  • Hi.

    My non-profit uses a local payment gateway called Payfirma (website: payfirma.com).

    They currently have a woocommerce-based plugin, but as you rightly pointed out, your plugin has many better features than woocommerce.

    I can find very little information about whether your plugin can be setup to work with other payment gateways then the add ons you have listed.

    1.) Is it possible to connect payment gateways other than the add on payment gateways you currently have? or,
    2.) Is there plans to build a add on for the payfirma payment gateway?

    Hey Dustin,

    We’re looking to integrate with Payfirma as soon as we can. There’s no current non-code way to connect to the gateway currently. You’d need a plugin Add-on to properly integrate, which doesn’t yet exist.

    We do have plans, but we haven’t moved forward with integrating with them yet though. Their API does look nice though.

    You said there’s currently no non-code way to connect the gateway. Does this mean if I hired a web developer with the qualified coding skills they would be able to connect it for me?

    Hi.

    I wanted to know if there is an estimated timeline for releasing a Payfirma add-on. I’m in talks with hiring a web developer to build the custom add-on but I’d like to know if it’d be worth it based on when you estimate you could be releasing it?

    Also, what is the best way to stay informed of when such add-on would be released?
