Crashing when stylesheet gets to big

I know this is more likely a Chrome issue as this doesn’t happen to me in firefox but I was hoping someone has a work around for this. Since the latest chrome update once my stylesheet gets too big whenever I paste inside the stylesheet (in chrome) the tab crashes and gives me a “Oh Snap” error.

I already tried reverting my chrome back to a different version but didn’t have much luck. Has anyone found a workout for this to stop the browser from crashing when the stylesheet starts getting long?
