• Hello,
I have Memberships Pro and in the settings of Nav Menu roles, I can see the roles and check them. That works fine.
I also have the opportunity to check to items: membership level (defined in pmp) and s2member level.
But checking the pmp level doesn’t limit that manu item to a user with that level. It seems that Nav menu roles only ‘looks’ at the roles.
In other words, a user that is logged in can see the menu topics although he doesn’t have a membership.
    What is wrong here?
    Pieter

NMR looks at roles, but its kind of a fuzzy lens for capabilities. If I had looked at all capabilities the menu checkboxes would quickly get out of control.

If a menu item is set to “Subscriber” than any user with the subscriber capabilities (such as as admin) will be able to see it. Think of it more as a minimum role required. If you want to restrict something to *only* a particular role that role should have a unique capability that other roles don’t have.

In your case, I suspect that a “member” and “logged in” user have virtually identical capabilities.
