Do you have the latest version of the plugin? Did you try uninstalling, deleting and reinstalling a fresh copy of the latest version?

I have the latest version. In fact, this problem arose when I upgraded.

I have not uninstalled, deleted and reinstalled. Will I lose all the author info (i.e. Twitter handles, FB account info, etc) if I do that?

Unfortunately yes you will lose all the author social links. Now that they use unique variable names that don’t conflict with other plugins, you shouldn’t have to re-enter them in future updates.

OK – glad I asked before I did it. I’ll make copies of all of them and re-input. Not fun when you’ve got about a dozen authors

Uninstalled and re-installed and still can’t save any info in the SAB fields.

A little more info – I have tried saving info signed in as the admin and signed in as a user. Neither works.

Are you using co-authors plus? If so, does it still not save if you disable co-authors plus temporarily or any other plugins potentially?

Not using co-author plus. I have not tried systematically deactivating plugins and testing.

Found that the iThemes Security plugin is causing this issue. I systematically turned on and off plug-ins until I found one that was causing the problem. I did stop at this one once I found the issue. Can anything be done to work with this plugin?
