    Hi,

I am currently showing all my events on a global map. I would like to do the following:

    1. Add the same search form (basic + advanced search functionality) than the one available for events list.

    2. Allow users to filter events (on the global map) by attributes by selecting attributes from a dropdown list

I have looked at the tutorial available, but i am confused since i have created the attributes using the admin dashboard.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks again for all your terrific support.

    Best,
    Yvan

    hi,

sorry but I’m that this is not possible at the moment and might need lots of coding on your part to make this work since we don’t have custom snippet similar to this.

    Hi,

Thanks for the response. Do you know if this is will be available in the foreseeable future? Does the pro-version allow users to do that?

One more question: I am not a developer but I can usually i can figure things out, given the right guidance. If I were to purchase the pro-version of the pluggin, would the pro-support team be able to help me with these type of requests?

Thanks a lot guys, this plugin is fantastic, but i really need to figure out how to incorporate the above functionality …

    Best,
    Yvan

Sorry, these features aren’t available in the Pro version and aren’t currently planned.

ok. So i am looking at the Geo Mashup plugin as an alternative to the map view. I was wondering if you could tell me what single customer field events manager uses to store the location information?

    Many thanks,
    Yvan

Sorry, I’m not clear on what you need to know. Could you clarify? Thanks.

    Hi,

Somehow, Geo Mashup (mapping plugin) is not able to automatically pull up events that have been created with events-manager. One way to go around this would be to provide geo mashup with the “geocode custom field”, which as per the plugin documentation are “Comma separated keys of custom fields to be geocoded when saved. Multiple fields will be combined in order before geocoding. Saves a location for the post if found.”

It would be great if you could please let me know what these are.

    Best,
    Yvan

Sorry, I’m still not clear on what data you need. If it’s the latitude and longitude co-ordinates, they are stored in the location_latitude and location_longitude columns in the wp_em_locations table.

In the same table is the rest of the location information, if you need something else.
