Payment not working in IE or Edge

  • Hi

    Everything is working correctly on my site apart from if i use IE or Microsoft Edge. The add to cart works correctly but when i click the ‘checkout’ button in either of the two above browsers it just takes me to the PayPal homepage rather than the PayPal purchase page.

    If you add one of the infographics to the cart, after being redirected to the cart page try and checkout and you should see my issue.

    Does anyone know what is causing this?

    Hi, I tested your URL above and it works well in my laptop using Microsoft Edge and IE. I am running Windows 10.

    Thank you for testing the URL. Did you however try adding an item to the cart by clicking ‘order now’ and then attempting to pay by PayPal once you were redirected to the checkout page?

    If so, did it bring you to the PayPal checkout like this below screenshot:

    I’ve tested it in IE on two different computers now and both have taken me directly to Paypal rather than the PayPal checkout.

    Hi, yes you are correct. It takes me to the PayPal sign up page. This is very strange, I wonder if this is a theme related issue? The reason why I am saying this is because I carried out a test on my testing platform using my theme. It takes me to the correct PayPal checkout page using Microsoft Edge browser.

    Try one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Fourteen or Fifteen.
