Slider as Image show

Hey there,

thanks for providing the theme! i love it.
But there is a thing i want to change.

Either i want to use the header in a way bigger way (now it is height 250 px). or (even better) i tried to use the slider which is actually very nice as a image show.

But i don’t want to show the pictures of the recent posts, i want to show just some pictures which i choose. Not necessarily part of any post. If the pictures would slide automatically every 10 seconds, that would be the best.

I tried to use just pictures of a specific category, but than all posts has to be at the front page. So that is no solution.

Would be very thankful if you could help me on this topic.
