What does alert re file changed mean?

It means that the iTSec plugin detected a change in the wp-admin/error_log file during the last File Change Detection scan compared to the previous scan.

The name of the file (error_log) seems to suggest it is a log file.
Log files are known to change regularly …
So probably nothing to worry about.

However I do wonder what an error_log file is doing in the wp-admin folder …

Also to get data displayed in the logs that is easier to understand select “File Change History” from the Select Filter: dropdown listbox which is positioned on top of the Logs report.
Then click on the Details link.
