English & French site

I am working on a site that will be bi-lingual. I am almost done the English side but now comes the French. We have had all the text translated by a professional translator. How do I go about making a bi-lingual site? We would like to still have the same URL (home.com & home.com/french).

Any help would be greatly appreciated and I would like to thank you in advance for any help.
