Pre-populating form with SKU using shortcode

    I think I know why it isn’t working. Possibly because I am linking to the form. If the form is on the product page it works but I want to link to the form to keep the product page clean.

    Seems like a basic feature but I want my customers to be able to click on a contact us button (shortcode) on the product page which links to a form in order to ask questions about the product before purchasing.

    Is there a way to pass the sku to pre-populate a field in a form that is being linked to from the product page?

    Any help would be appreciated.
