Migration from phpbb2

    I currently run a phpbb2 forum on one of my websites.
    Rather than upgrade to phpbb3, I am looking to migrate to WordPress. I notice that there are import procedures for other systems, but not phpbb.

    Is there an import roadmap for this migration?

    I don’t think I have the time to write one!

    (although I am new to WordPress, I am not new to computing, web development, databases , etc.)

    Anyone?

    So, if I understand you correctly, you want to import a bulletin board system into a blogging system (because you can’t actually do that in this case)? If that’s the case, then I’d suggest you look at bbPress (https://bbpress.org). I believe there’s a pretty decent phpBB importer for bbPress, and then there are instructions there for integrating bbPress with WordPress.
