getting a 404 when clicking on click to generate your Sitemap Index.

I had the same problem and just re saved permalinks and all working fantastic !

but I can’t find where to auto-install the rewrite rules of W3TC. Any help?

Hi @quesoespinosa I don’t know what happened. It just started to work.

I love it when I search google and the right answer pops up in the first page results. I would never have thought to re-save permalinks. Thank you! ??

Im getting the 404 error, and re saving permalinks did not work.

All sitemaps are beeing generated ok , except for post_google_news

Any ideas? It was working flawlessly until yesterday :/

I’m seeing a similar problem.

No caching plugin installed + opcache disabled.

When I click the generate link from settings, I get a 404 when generate attempts.

No WP debug log spew which seems related.

Suggestions welcome.

This may relate to latest version.

Normal way I install this plugin is via wp-cli…

wp plugin install bwp-google-xml-sitemaps –activate

And I’ve never had to manually generate a sitemap before… Sitemaps seem to appear by magic. Today though… no joy/sitemap…

Using version 1.4.1 of plugin.

Ur plugin working well as expected,
Even more than what i had expected it was wonderfull,
I use a complicated scenario
Such as domain mapping + multiple domains + w3tc on nginx servers, all the latest versions and all went well
Only they can not setting it up,
All already explained in faq, please read that !!
Because at the beginning I also failed 404
