New website links display wrong website

Hi there,

Have you changed and updated the URLs in Settings to reflect the new URL?

In Settings I have WordPress and Website address listed as: https://onepagewebsite.org/dwp

I see a different page on https://onepagewebsite.org/dwp vs what I see on onepagewebsite.org

I am sorry but what I mean is when you click on any link, eg “Bio”, my onepagewebsite page comes up. This is true if I click on any of the links in the new site.

Have you checked the options table to make sure that your “home” and your “siteurl” are both set to https://onepagewebsite.org/dwp

You may also have to SAVE your permalinks structure again, this will rewrite your .htaccess file for you.

After you make these changes, your sub-directory website should show up correctly.

You can install WordPress in your root and install other WordPress installations in sub-directories without issue on MOST hosting company servers.
