Menu problem

On tablets “3rd gen iPad “- the menu in landscape works fine when the page loads ,but then when you start to scroll up it switch to all left to right and you can access all the menu option.
In portrait mode on the same device , the menu looks O.K., but the submenus open underneath the main menu and it does not look right.
