custom attribute in spanish language

Hi,
I try to export one custom attribute called “CaracterÃsticas” (in spanish language) that I created in product page.
I insert in “custom attribute” textarea of the plugin, the following text:
caracterÃsticasbut the plugin in the export csv file create a column called “Attribute: CaracterÃsticas” but it’s all empty, without any text.
Maybe some problems with iso code?thank you
