Support for Apache 2.4?

    When WP Super Cache is installed on a server running Apache 2.4 and mod_rewrite is used to serve the files, the rewrite rules do not appear to work and instead, the static files are served via PHP.

    Even though the rewrite rules do not work, the plugin will still serve the static files via PHP. You can verify this yourself by checking the headers when you make the request and you will see the entry “WP-Super-Cache:Served supercache file from PHP”.

    I have tested this with Apache 2.2 and 2.4 and the issue is isolated to Apache 2.4 only. I noticed this over a year ago and tried to reach out to you (Donncha) but you weren’t too keen on talking to me.

    Please advise?
