    Hi,

I am testing your plugin with WP 4.4.1 / Woocommerce 2.5.1 and basically everything works except for some minor issues; when I try to modify a Product from the admin page I cannot expand/collapse any widget on right like “Category Product” or “Tag Product”, not even selected Tags are shown any more although they are applied.

    Can you please verify?
Thanks for your usable free plugin about Braintree

    Hi,

While you are using your WooCommerce pages (like edit Product) the WooBraintreePayment is not loaded thus anything that happens there (good or evil) is not accountable to WooBraintreePayment plug-in.

I just tested your case on my WP 4.4.1 with WC 2.5.1 and works obviously well/normally.

Your WC meta-boxes might have problem collapsing/expanding if you have some JavaScript errors on your WP admin. Check your browser Console for JS errors, they might point you into the right direction.

Again, WooBraintreePayment is not loaded while you are editing WC products (some of it loads only on Settings->Checkout page), thus it cannot hurt/alter the WC behavior whatsoever.

    Hi,

The fact is the issue appears when your plugin is activated and obviously it disappears when disabled.

This is the only error that I have from firefox web console:

The stylesheet https://raw.githubusercontent.com/drewwilson/TipTip/master/tipTip.css?ver=4.4.1 was not loaded because its MIME type, “text/plain”, is not “text/css”.

I saw that is from your plugin.
It could be a css related issue, but it would be strange as everything works in your test environment. I will try to investigate more.

    Thanks.
    Regards.

    Hi,

The plug-in uses indeed the TipTip CSS stylesheet which might have a different effect on your environment than in mine.

It would be useful if you would provide a list of your activated WordPress plugin-ins. Then I would try to install/activate them in context with my plug-in and to understand what might cause the issue you’ve reported.

Thanks again for your feedback regarding this uncommon issue.

I am going to install all of these plug-ins on a clean install of WP 4.4.1 + WC 2.5.1.
Hopefully they are free plug-ins (ie. available at www.ads-software.com) such that I can really emulate your environment (except perhaps your PHP/Apache/browser version) and hopefully the issue you’ve encountered.

All the plugins are open and free for download/install, here my installation details:

    WP 4.4.1
    WC 2.5.1
    PHP 5.6.15
    Nginx/1.6.3
    Firefox 43.0-1
    Chrome Version 47.0.2526.106 (64-bit)
    Explorer 9 Version 9.0.8112.16421

I did the test (both on FF 38.5 and Chromium 48.0) and and I can confirm that the issue you’ve described on your report does not replicate on my test environment.

You can find here a video that shows the environment settings and also the fact that the situation you’ve described does not happen on this test environment.

So the test was simple: just try to add a product then try to collapse/expand these meta-boxes visible on the right side of the page. Did I missed something?

    Thread Starter rikofert

    (@rikofert)

no problem while adding a new product, the issue arises while “editing” existing products in order to modify cost or whatever.

    Thread Starter rikofert

    (@rikofert)

I saw that if I add a product now that your plugin is enabled, I have no problem in modifying (admin edit) the new product added; so I guess that is something that depends on my installation (updating to WP 4.4.1 might have introduced this issue)

Thanks for your support, I will provide a feed back in case of fix.
    Regards.

Last thing, is it possible to remove the plugin footer:

If you like Woo Braintree Payment please leave us a ★★★★★ rating. A huge thank you from Eugen Mihailescu, MyNixWorld in advance!

after having provided a rate and not modifying plugin code of course?
    Thanks again.

Removing the “please rate me” footer after voting is a great idea. It will be included in the next release.

    Hi,

hope that you still have your test environment running, you can try to add any custom “attribute” to Product and you will find the issue.
    Bug is there.

    Thread Starter rikofert

    (@rikofert)

It happens only with application of pre-existing Custom Attribute, if a new one is applied to Product everything works well. It is a mess.

    Plugin Author Eugen Mihailescu

    (@eugenmihailescu)

    It just works!
Please watch my second video posted here:
    https://youtu.be/hubB0J_wPjI

Is my test case different than what you are trying to achieve?

    Thread Starter rikofert

    (@rikofert)

You got exactly the point, but I have this noisy problem with Product Attribute that, once applied, prevents me to expand/collapse widgets in the admin edit page (and to show “tag” applied), only when your plugin is activated. That’s very frustrating.

I will try to re-install from scratch.
Once again, thank you for your time.
