Downloads from WordPress Website Show Up as download.php files

Hi,
I recently installed Contact Form 7, Download Monitor and Email Before Download to try and get readers to enter their emails before receiving a free pdf download. I followed the installation directions as best I could but now whenever I sign up for with one of my email accounts to test it out the download comes up as a download.php instead of a pdf.

I used this line of code: [email-download download_id=”238″ contact_form_id=”234″] (with the id numbers I generated)

Any ideas? Thanks,
