• WP is changing additional pointed domain names that point to the same folder into redirected domains.

WP used to not change pointed additional domain names that were pointed to the same folder. Now WP must have a code that causes a pointed domain name to act like a redirected domain name when it is typed into the browser address bar.

    How can this be fixed?

I don’t want WP to have control over whether or not my domain names are pointed or redirected. I set my domain names to be pointed because I don’t want them redirected.

  • Have you done any 301 or 302 redirects?

No, I haven’t done any redirects.

I did a fresh install with two domain names one as the main and one as pointed. I used version 4.4.1 and couldn’t figure out why my pointed domain was redirecting. I contacted my hosting co. and they said it was wordpress, so I did another brand new install to test on a different server and the same thing, so I downgraded to an older version of WP and now the domain is acting like it should when a domain is pointed.

Is this a bug in WP?

    I doubt it.

Are the domain names defined in wp-config.php correct?

Nothing has been changed in the wp-config.php file from the current version of WP that redirects vs. the older version I am running now that doesn’t redirect.

How would I know if they are defined correctly in wp-config.php?

I don’t know why they wouldn’t be defined correctly since it works on an older version, but not the latest version of WP.

Just wondering if anyone is going to help me with this, or if this is going to be an unresolved issue?
