I just got a blog going–downloaded it to my server–and I can post comments but I don’t see how anyone else can add comments to my blog. Where do they get a userid and password? It appears that they must have to do something on my blog to login but I can’t figure it out. I have a wordpress user id and password from before–but it will not let me log onto my new blog using that information. Please help

  • People can register for your blog at https://yourdomain.tld/wp-login.php?action=register

In wp-admin, options you can checkoff membership requirements. If you check “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” people will be asked to register before commenting.

Post your url and we can check this. If you try, WP using cookies, will see you as already registered.

But do you really want people to register? YOu may get more participants by letting anyone comment.
